Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have set up my dish as discussed before, got the FTV card etc. I was wondering is it possible to connect an aerial to the same cable , ie i want to put an aerial in the attic so i can watch RTE etc I want to joint the arieal cable and the Sat cable can they go on the same co ax or will i need a seperate coax to each TV. Also i was wondering about aerials was looking at XG8, XG9 and XG 10 aerials, it says that they are digital compatable so i was guessing that they are an analogue aeril that i could put in the attic?

You can't connect the satellite and aerial using the one coax, because there is power coming from the receiver to the LNB.

Yes, you can but not really worth it.

You need a box at each end that will combine/separate VHF/UHF/Satellite signals with power pass - probably cheaper to buy 100m of CT100 !

Price doesn't seem to be too bad GBP8.99.

Slightly off topic but for anyone interested, the November and December issues of Television magazine have very good articles on how to setup an SMATV distribution system.
