    A thought crossed my mind while looking through Daft earlier.

    Surely when an advertiser states male/females only wanted they are engaging in sexual discrimination. Also, by publishing the advert, Daft are doing likewise.

    Anyone know the legalities of this? Just písses me off when you see fab photo's of houses and then read "females only".

    It's permitted only if the accommadtion unit is for 6(?) people or less.

    I had an aswer from them this morning to say that the equality law doesnt apply because the advertiser has the choice of who they want to live with.

    Personal selection can come down to the interview alright, but surely the practise is still not above board?
