Week 5. 29 Goals.

No winners again this week. Two more "weeks" (or match days) before we have our first monthly winner. Here's the league table as it stands now.

Here are this weeks matches.

Charlton v Birm'ham

Man City v C Palace

N'castle v South'tn

Portsm'h v Blackb'n

Tot'ham v Chelsea

Bolton v Arsenal

As usual a goal total is what's needed.

After next week we'll have a winner of the first term and they will have a nice gift from the postman for their efforts. As you can see from above there are many people who have yet to score a single point and with PORNAPSTER in the lead with 4pts someone could easily come out of nowhere and take the spoils. Plenty of advance notice this week so let's make it a competitive one this week.

One more week to go in this term. 19 goals. Johnor was closest with 18 goals so he gets another point and joins pornapster at the top of the table. Just to remind you there is a monthly prize and also an end of season prize. So if ya haven't had a go yet you may as well join in cause it adds to the excitment of the saturday afternoon.

It is cruel when you get so close but that's what makes it so satisfying when you do hit the bullseye. The prize will be a helluva lot of mp3s on a cd....some rare versions of songs, various mixes, a general compilation that would be very useful for someone with an i-pod or jukebox.

I'm going to be really mean and hold a tie breaker between the two leaders for the games tomorrow and monday. I've sent pms to both players and the tie breaker will only go ahead if they both reply before 2pm tomorrow.

Okay, so PORNAPSTER and JOHNOR......how many goals in total will be scored in these games......

(By the way they both have to give me a prediction in my PM box, that way if one says 6 the other might take the easy option and go 5 etc.....)

Also.....Of course anyone can join in at any time to be in with a shout for the monthly and overall prize. This months scores will be recorded and put aside until the end and everyone will start from scratch from next week. All clear on that? If not feelfree to post....

It was a full schedule of games and after the fa cup at the weekend i said id give it a spin. Think I gave plenty of notice. It'll be tough to get off the mark though....lot more goals than one would have thought.
