Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.
Hi there,
There is an issue with role permissions that is being worked on at the moment.
If you are having trouble with access or permissions on regional forums please post here to get access: https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058365403/you-do-not-have-permission-for-that#latest

This is indicative of the greed culture that is now prevalent in this country

2000 quid to move 100 yards down the road - people will grasp at opportunity to line their pockets these days.

Plus the tax surplus means that McCreevy is going to cut taxes to get votes for next years election - meaning more inflation.

But hey, why should the rich care?

One could make a good living out of such moves.

They claim the cash is cause they had to pack all their stuff and get it down there. This would be perhaps fair enough (though still too much) if it was done outside of work hours.

But if the moves were during work hours, then they deserve little if anything ... tho they will likely cite Demarcation and job description issues.

Bad sign tho ... people getting very lazy and legal.

    Jesus!
Why didn't I think of that 8 months ago when I help move an entire business from temporary dwellings to a new building - we were filling containers, carting them up and down stairs and into trucks, moving extrememly heavy furniture, wiring PCs and phones to said furniture. We didn't get paid any extra...

I don't work there anymore, but maybe I can still try to claim, what d'ye think?
