hey shrimp, thats nice. it might be good if you posted what application(s) you used and the techniques you used too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,645 ✭✭✭Shrimp

I did it all in Macromedia fireworks... Main Techniques would be like:

    Gradients.. Alot of them!

A bit of vector line drawings!

I changed the all pictures saturation to zero, then use a colour fill to give it the colour I wanted.. eg the yellow colour.. did the same for the paint splatters!

As for the wooden coloured floor on the skate park goes.. that is actually a vector line drawing which I coloured with a wood texture. If you look closely you can see that the grain is not goin the right way, doesn't look real... but niether does the whole pic.. It's abstract after all.. This gives a nice cubism element to the picture!

I added simple lines to help guide your eye around the page, The lines going around the skate park are like the path of a skater, then the lines in the sky are quiet effective also, I think!

    thats a great design,,

what gave you the idea of the concord in the background?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,070 ✭✭✭Placebo

    photomanipulation.
friend was looking at some porn one day and came across some fetish ****, when i seen the pic i got an idea
    finish3.jpg
il try find the real pic,
didnt do aything to the pic itself tbh, just changed the colours and added the bubbles at back. Mind you bubbles took a while.

    Hi,

I can see the effect you were trying to get from the picture above. Personally I dont really like that type of colour manipulation. Those colours! I'm guessing your new to this! I mean I'm no vetran either, like only doing it a few months!

As for the concord, that was just to give a sense of speed or like it's rushing out form the sun, speeds up the pic. Also by having the picture balanced your eye will be brought around the whole picture, if I left out that element. It wouldn't been a striking image at all!

I want to get my pic printed off, It's A3 and I want to get it printed like as a poster onto that type of paper. I only want 1 or 2 prints. Can anyone tell me where I could get this done?

    Thanks

So you're only joking? Or do you really want an answer to that question?

seriously, cut down on the ****ing smilies.

you have a choice between gloss or matt finish on the print outs.

sorry that was a typo.. I meant poster paper! yes and i want it matt..
