Your local authority (Meath County Council) are responsible for rolling out broadband in Meath.

I'd look up wireless solution rather that wait for DSL. A lot of small villages in Meath simply wont be upgraded for the DSL flavour of broadband.

Anyway, as far as I know the meeting was called off. Storms and all that. Not sure about rescheduling but I can check when I'm down town next.

And regarding net1, you want to be really desperate to get broadband from those cowboys. I know a guy in Laytown that uses them and has had nothing but trouble, and when he DARED to slag them off on here, got a threatening email from the company!
