Here's a poem I've just improvised:

There was no way this thread wasn't happening,

It's terribly gay,

Smith just made it worse,

By compounding the cliché,

But a happy Christmas to you though,

I'm sure it'll be a hit,

And I hope you got what you wanted,

You spoiled little ....

Anyone else see the snow this morning? In my pretentions I enjoyed it in an ironic way..

Aww, respect to your mad skillz. Yeah there's snow out here in the sticks, it's like a picture postcard, beautiful.

I also made a snow angel, but it didn't turn out so well.

A palm tree with snow on it! How cool is that!! And yes that is my back garden (which is rather big, as I live outside Dublin).

Ahh, picture-postcard stuff..great.

I was unlucky enough to have the first half of my xmas day ruined by a hangover after a night on the beer last night. Only recovering now.

dublin supposed to be a bit milder/warmer then the midlands because its beside the sea.
i cant even remember the last time the snow actually stuck in dublin, must be a few years ago..

It was February 2001. I was on a flight home from New York and Dublin was closed so we had to land in Shannon and get a train to Dublin.

John if you're really drunk I recommend going to athena directly across the road from iskanders. It looks like a more expensive place but it's not. They give bigger greasier kebabs for the same price

From what I remember athena do a good pizza too. My friends said the kebabs were nice there. Never been to iskanders.
