It was just under 30c in the shade in my garden in Achill at 2.30pm. There's a lot of hazy cloud around and it feels very close.

Up early this morning as lots of work to do.

It's very humid outside and is like the continent with no breeze and humid, stagnant warmth.

There must of been about 50 bee's getting pollen from one of my bush yokes:eek: The noise!

Today was the warmest day of the year so far here at 24.7c
It got very humid feeling as cloud moved in from the south in late afternoon. The rain never reached here though but at around 8pm I saw a dying cb to my SE through the haze.

Warm heavy and partly cloudy most of the morning here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,246 ✭✭✭rc28

It was completely cloudy here all morning but it cleared quickly by midday and there are now lots of "fluffy" cumulus around, some of them bubbling up to nothing really. Not quite as warm as yesterday(still hot in sun though) but feels much nicer when the stronger breeze blows (i thought meteireann said last night there wouldn't be any breeze today?)

It has been raining most of the day here with an hour or more torrential. I was driving on the N15 between Lifford and Ballybofey and the road was flooded in numerous places.

Not a cloud in the sky, 29.4C (Urbana, Illinois) but it is is only 12:10PM or so. Afternoon will be a bit hotter and not much of a breeze at all. The news reported yesterday of drought conditions about to set in.
