Lovely day here, max temp was 22.4°C which is only 0.4 off my yearly high.
Felt a couple of degrees warmer in work, wouldnt be surprised to see 24-25°C somewhere in Dublin today.

OK - I hit a new yearly max today - 24.3, albeit briefly. This was 0.2 higher than my max on 11th June. Anyone else reach a new max today?? I see some of you were close.

BTW - Lovely evening - still 23.4c. Enjoying a few beers in the garden...

What time did you record your max ?
I see that the Weatherlink software crashed on my weather pc roughly around 15:00, so no record between then and 17:05 (when I came home and restarted it). Bloody frustrating if a station record temperature occurred during that time!!

    OutsideTempHistory.gif

For my own sanity please say it was outside of this time window!!

Sorry Longfield but it was at 15:53! You can see this on my website - http://www.roundwoodweather.com

Also, this was a brief max. The daily log (every 20 mins) shows that 4pm recorded 23.7. You can also see this as a link from my website in the 'Detailed Reports' link on the left.

Damn - Hope you keep your sanity!!

I'm very much an amateur with a big interest and love of the weather.
I use a Davis Vantage Pro (original) with Weatherlink software, Snowbie and Mothman have newer models than mine (I think), Trogdar has one also, not sure if its an original though or a newer one.

Others like Artictree and Dolanbaker (i think? ) use Oregon Scientific stations.

Its always great to get new members with their own stations posting here especially if you live close to the person with the station.
I live close to Artictree and Mothman , so its especially interesting for me to see the local variances in weather - Mothman seems to get more thunderstorms and sun than me, but Artictree and myself get more snow than him hehe , :)

Wow, just back now and it sure is different, from the drizzly 14C for most of the week in Donegal to clear skies and 23.8C here!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,329 ✭✭✭arctictree

Not as sunny today as yesterday but still a nice day overall. 18.2c ATM and 70% cloudy.

GFS certainly looks good for the week : http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/avnpanel1.html

Nothing spectacular but at least relatively dry...

    Greetings from Palma, Mallorca.

Back tomorrow, the weather here has been made, 3 big thunderstorms and big wind storm yesterday with sand all over the cars.

Has become incredibly warm, probably near 27c right now i would imagine, the wind is like nothing i have ever experienced, dead hot wind for and getting hotter.

See you all tomorrow and i will be back posting.;)

Started bright then clouded in, rather humid but not esp warm.

I just cut the grass, its not rained here for a week and it was actualy damp. Its proberly leeching moisture out of the soil and will be for weeks!

    Mike.

    Warm and sunny. :)

Finished our wheat harvest today, seven continuous days cutting with no rain, which is quite unusual. Moisture contents were about 20% for the first few days but dropped quickly to around 15% once the wind changed to the NW. Soil conditions still quite poor though.

I've noticed today that even though it was nice and sunny, it struggled to reach a max of 18c on my weather station. I wonder, was the summer max of 24.3 recorded last Friday going to be the max for 2007? I think it looks like it....

Warm and sunny until the last hour. Clouded in, a bit of a flighty breeze.

Dull and not too warm right now, looks like the cloud will lift and break later.
