    Very wet sleety night/early morning.
    Gave way to strong but cold dry sunshine.
    The top of the local mountain, four miles behind me is white from about 1800 feet above sea level and I can see lugnaquilla covered in snow also.

    Well by the time I dragged myself out of my sickbed it was a gorgeous calm, sunny afternoon. Still lots of snow on the hills....

    V bright and cold....

    WEATHER ALERT! Tonight its gonna freeeeze big time with sleet and some snow tomorrow as the rain pushes in from the wesht.

    Dense fog then dull with light rain here until about 4 then the heavens opened and the wind it did blow....(check out Emmerdale tonight for more of same!)

    Belfast yesterday-dull and dry untill dark when the heavens opened.
    Heavy sleet actually untill just north of newry.

    Currently dry and windy in wicklow.
    Skies are mostly cloudy but there is some blue sky to the East.
