Sunny in Wicklow, though I don't think for much longer. Winds light, so feels mild.

Lovely sunny morning-spring like in fact.
Dull cold clouds moved in during the last hour.

A bit further north, its not raining yet, but its very near, though not visible yet. Got over 1 1/2 hours sun earlier.

Took longer than expected to get here, the rain which is heavy-ish has just arrived.

In the south of the county , it has been raining heavy for the last two and a half hours now.
Interestingly I can, (even though the sky is leaden) see the very top of croghan mt, which means the cloud base is above 2000ft.
From the radar, it looks like this rain is not going to go any further north than Dublin, but track east, which is what I heard forecast at 755am this morning.
Some very bright colours in it indicating another couple of hours of heavy stuff to come and possibly thunder.

Looks like the bright echoes in the radar bypassed me. The rain has almost stopped.
Its coolish but wind is almost calm.

Started out dry and even mild at about 6 am, then the rain came mid morning which on the mountains has fallen as snow above about 2000 feet. Easing off now and noticably cooler.

Cold, wet and very stormy, but at least there are a few patches of blue...

After 6.3hr sun, it has now got a bit stormy, with stronger winds and a shower that looked worse that it was.

Well the NW seems to be getting a battering alright. Malin Head has had gust of 69KTS which not far off 80 mph.

A bit chilly here in Dublin. 1C all the way into work except through the Phoenix Pk where it dropped to 0C - Always happens. Only a very light frost and the roads are grand a dry. I hear we have a settled on not too cold week ahead of us. About time too.

Hard frost here in south Wicklow-everything frozen solid.

It's clouded over though.
Current temp - zero Brrrr

And Lugnaquilla is white with snow since friday, though I can't see the mountain from here this morning, the snow was there yesterday as I got some of it on my boots

its warm, no wind and spells of good sunshine. what more does one want. i am impressed
