Not anywhere near as good today in Galway - yesterday turned into an amazing day! Much cooler so far and the whole lot is way more overcast and cloudy. Could well rain this evening.

Yeah, I've a friend who moved to Galway, from these parts, a few years ago, and tells me, that it rains in the winter ...a...Lot!!
If it's any consolation , here just south of the centre of the East coast,we had a shower about an hour ago,it's kept the dust down and it's very dull and overcast now, so me reckons tiz going to be a night for a tall stool, as they say round these parts.
Ie it's going to be raining, so better go to the pub.

Sun and Rain here this morning.
We are on the border of a system, and rain is just easing off outside, but theres a straight line edge to the cloud area, to the north where the sun is shining and blue skies can be seen.

Much better today in the Wesht - some rain earlier, but the afternoon's cleared up nicely enough and it's a grand day.

Started with drizzle, dried up but then the rain returned heavier.
Sunny in Cashel when I was there this lunchtime.

They filled in and it's a monsoon outside, has been all day.
Was in Dublin around two and it was nice and dry till I started down the N11:eek:

Heavy Rain, dull and misty.

Rained all day yesterday and all last night here in the sunny southeast.

Surprisingly bright this morning, not as warm as yesterday. In fact I feel a slight wintry chill in the air. Can not really complain about it today though. Could and has been a hell of a lot worse, given the time of year.

Autumnal, but strangely warm.

Light breeze, sunny with scraps of cloud littering the horizon, dark seas, long shadows. No sign of the torrential rain/landslides that hit up the coast in Belmullet.

Woke up this morning to more Heavy Rain.
But by 11 am the sun was out and still is and it's warmish now

Almost completely clear sunny blue skies now, but windy.

Theres some great cloud action out over the Irish sea, they are all honeycombed and look like someones been carving them up with a mile long knife.
