    Same here, I can see the towers of clouds all around and they have thankfully missed here.
    However I was driving from Gorey to Arklow about an hour ago and met a monsoon, coming down in straight lines, total blackness, hail and rivers of water on the road.
    The shower came to within a mile of here and from there on, it was bone dry, it looked like a tornado was landing looking back at it in the rear view mirror.

    Certainly felt I faired poorly with the sunshine today as there seemed to be cloud overhead for some of day and yet clear blue sky was always visible in most directions

    3am this morning-monsoon downpour, very very heavy and very loud rain-the ponds of water are still everywhere-10 miles down south-no rain!

    No sign of that overnight monsoon and practically no sign of cloud today either. Easily highest temp of year 19C, was 17C. I reckon close on 13h sunshine. Will do tot shortly once sun sets.
