Overcast, but warm and uncomfortably humid in Laois. The sort of weather I hate the most.

Started off beautifull warm and sunny followed by a light shower around 10am and more sun.

Then (adds Drama) a most severe shower arrived at around noon with heavy hail and very intense rain causing flash flooding.
This lasted about half an hour and was followed by more sunshine.
Skies have again blackened now and it's gone very dark another monsoon is about to land.
Well it's variety and thats nice

Nah, no such drama here either, just very mild & overcast.

Rain started at 1pm ish and has continued moderately ever since.
Drove across the hills and it was very foggy in the rain.

Now having some of that famous Irish side-ways rain... it looks deceptively light, but needless to say you'll get saturated if you stand in it long enough.
This rain is almost completely horizontal, spectacular.

Well the sun came out lots of times down here today and put in a terrific performance this evening after five.
Twas lovely and then at about 8 it clouded in and there was a small down pour followed by sunset on the horizon
