    Hmmm,
Hard frost here on the coast this morning and I could see a light snow covering on lugnaquilla.
Lovely day though with just 1 shower iirc.

heavy rain showers here in inland south wicklow all afternoon.
Still a scattering of snow on the local hills, where it is also raining, there must have been a good covering there this morning.

Last couple days have been very mild (13C+), very windy with bits of drizzle at times. Little sunshine.
This morning is cooler, (6C). Sky was clear earlier but has clouded over, and it's almost calm.

Cold is now moving south down the country as rain pushes
in from the west, theres ingredients for some snow in places
    later tonight :)

Watch out for some light snow showers int eh backwash
of the small LP in the East as the winds veer Easterly
    and increase..

Temperature in my back garden : 4.2c
    Dew point : 2.8c

Take another 2c away and were in business ;)

    Interesting...
I'll update you tomorrow on a new thread if thats alright?
But theres an ever increasing risk of snow across much of Ireland
tomorrow south of Ulster as cold air undercuts a developing low
pressure system..very interesting.. The Midlands and southeast
look good spots but as far north as Louth ;)

And the only change some 4 hours later is that there is a breath of wind. Been near calm for 24hrs.

Had some VERY LIGHT SNOW here in South Laois at about 2.30am this morning - Sunday. Have looked at the sat image, and it seems that convectivity is underway over the Irish sea sending cloud/precip into Wicklow, S.Kldare, N Carlow and into Laois.

    Maybe more snow here?

It seems that Laois is a magnet for snow this winter! :)

at 2am it was quite breezy and very very cold. wind from the north. shelterd areas behind walls/buildings were starting to ice over as I was coming home tonight. at present there is not a cloud in the sky, the wind has died down and it is cold.

Has been some broken cloud drifting in off sea. This is disappearing southwards, will be with earthman for a while yet. Seem's to be cloudless over most of country with reports of -1C over the midlands. 4C here with a northerly breeze which continues to back slowly.

yeah breezy here-some cloud but sun and cold.

A hail shower came in off the Irish sea in strong winds last night about 1am ish

Bright and cold but no wind.

Sunny for most of the day today, but you can feel the frostiness in the air outside now. cold and only a light breeze. my guess is that it will be either frosty or icy tonight. the strong breezes prevented it last night.

Lovely day today, there was so much sunshine that the solar powered garden lights lit up for a while this evening! :)
