Meanwhile my total has risen to 49mm since midnight.

The Dublin figures are remarkably low condering I got report that it rained all day, but then its surprising how small a total a day's drizzle can be.

Judging from radar the rain should be clearing some southern and SE coasts about now.

No sun what so ever today. However sky cleared quickly at sunset, and temp has been falling quick enough since. Now below 5C. Not a cloud to be seen.

Beautifull sunny day here,but I drove up the coast to wicklow earlier and encountered a bad day there with fog down near the coast, no sun and a lot of cloud.
Got back here and it was still lovely and sunny-temp around 14c

It has been sunny on and off here in south dublin we probably got about 4 hours worth of sunshine, hope it improves tomorrow. Its getting cool at the moment.

15 miles to the north, had to wait till 3pm before seeing the sun. Quite hazy.

After a dull start(the rain that the eagle mentioned on the radar travelling up the Irish sea last nigh did indeed make landfall)
It's turned out to be another beautifull day with some hazy sunshine.
Temp nudged 15c there at one stage, its back to 13 now.
Oh and the wheats lovely and green

Showers have missed me so far, nothing more than a Trace.

Casement reported "sleet shower" at 14z, temp was reported as 7C.

BTW dewpoint here down to -2C with low humidity of year with 39%

There was a fierce Hail shower here at about 215 which had soft hail blowing about in it looking a lot like sleet,I took it as soft/wet hail though.

Some heavy rain overnight with 9mm in an hour just after midnight. 19mm in all. Now sunny

I was actually driving home around that time last night and the rain was intense with a strong wind.
You can see the yard was well washed with it this morning.

Thunderstorm and a massive hailstorm here just now temperature plummeted
to 5c!

Same here though no thunder heard. 2 showers today with 5c temp drops. Precipitation was not big though with less than 3mm between the 2 showers and neither were as heavy as the rain in the early hours either.

I was up on high ground about an hour ago and had heavy sleet,hail and wet snow.
Rain and hail down here.It went on for over an hour in monsoon fashion.
Temp 2 c here now
Was 2 c on the hill during that storm-4 c here at the time
