    Eircom put a white mark on my telephone post in back garden.Is it a sign of BB going in? :o

    Sorry serious answer, more than likely it means absolutely nothing m8, have a look to see where your street cabinet is and see if theres any digging or eircom vans near it, might be in look

    Could mean anything but i very much doubt its got anything to do with broadband

    Not being smart,but what exactly is a telephone post? I know they used to mark poles red if they needed to be replaced,maybe white means pole is OK

    Normally all they do for enabling an area for BB is install a DSLAM or two in the local exchange, or possibly some mini dslams in street cabinets in densely populated areas.
