Lol.. well, Click and hold the hand then drag it to the top of the screen, out of the area.. it will zoom back to the original place, but dont worry.. you dont have to hold down the mouse once you've left the rectangle.. then bring your mouse in from behind the monkey.. e.g. the left of the screen.. it should smak him good.. the quicker you come in the faster it hits him

Didn't know that trick - I've seen this previously and achieved about 550 with my Logitech MX700 by sticking windows up to maximum mouse sensitivity and then upping to max mouse acceleration as well...

And then go beaten by a friend with a graphics tablet
