Hmmm I beg to differ as a big fan of the original I think the trailer looks dodgy and Depp especially looks like a woman as Willy Wonka. Its going to take one hell of a performance to better Gene Wilder.

Then again the only director who could do it is Tim Burton so fingers crossed !
