Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

UK introducing penalties on fine defaulters
    03 January 2005 16:46

Tough new measures to be announced by the British government today will allow the authorities to deduct money from people's wages or immobilise their cars if they fail to pay fines.

The penalties will also include stopping the social security benefits of fine defaulters and blacklisting them for credit schemes.

The plans are aimed at people who have a history of failing to pay fines for parking or traffic offences.

The British government says tens of millions of pounds are lost in unpaid fines every year.
