Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi All, Im new - HAPPY NEW YEAR

I want to complain about that CrazyFrog Ringtone thingy thats on TV. Isnt it annoying? Not only does it cost MUCH more than the "Free" amount that it states... but my friend had ended up switching SIMS just to get out of it!

Have any of ye had the same problems and switched networks or anything? I was nearly going to blame my Mobile Network (O2 ) But its not really their fault is it...?

    :(

Nope, its your friends fault for being a moron. If he was my friend, I would have fixed his problem by shoving the mobile up his ass.

All of thesee providers realised that people weren't going pay ridiculous amounts of money for a ring tone. Their solution was to lower the price and increase the volume by creating subscription services. Unfortunately, the consumer is rarely aware that they are subscribing to a service when they but a tone or wallpaper - though it will say so in the small print.

RegTel are stamping down on this and will suspend any short code that does not supply a STOP statement to stop the subscription. Any crazy frog user just needs to do the following:

Send the word STOP to 57777

This will work for any other ring tone service (obviously you need to change the number)

Crazy Frog and similar services must now display the line "This is a subscription service" on all their advertising. On TV ads it must be stationary on the top of the screen.

If you are still unhappy you should contact www.regtel.ie
