Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mini-DV To DVD

I'm trying to burn a recent Chrsitening from my Mini-DV Video Camera to a DVD+R via my PC and DVD Recorder. Needless to say I want to be able to play it back on a stand alone DVD player. I burned it using Nero but will only play back via Windows Media Player on my PC , not recognised on the DVD player. How can I re-format…

How can I re-format the file so that it plays on the DVD player ? Will the quality of the DVD be as good as the Video Camera playback ?

I am guessing you burned the actual data file to DVD. You will need to output the footage as DVD compliant MPEG2 format and burn as a DVD compliant disc. See the Guides section in www.doom9.org.
