I am not sure if this entirely the correct forum (but its reasonably close).
Going into 2005 I realised I have quite a few belongings which I don't have
marked with my name/address/phone number, etc.
About 5 years ago I remember my father had picked up some very useful
gold coloured adhesive stickers which were printed at a southside
newsagent in batches of 100 with the name/address/phone details of
the person who ordered them. Really useful to put on books/cameras
and items of value just in case they went missing (rather than necessarily
stolen) and were picked up by an honest Joe.

Does anyone know of an online or high street place where I could pick up
a small print job for something like this. maybe there is some inkjet paper
with small stickers which I could do a personal print run on (however, it
could be a pain to align the sticker text unless there was some customized
software which had a template for a given layout. guillotining would be a
pain also if the paper wasn't already partitioned into small sticker sizes.

So... anyone know where I could get such stickers online or otherwise
for under 20 euro or thereabouts....?

Don't go for inkjet - the ink is water soluble and runs / washes off when wet.

Many word processors have all the usual label formats already set up.

Yep I'd go with them deffo, I use them all the time for my biz cards... also they have a branch in the UK http://www.vistaprint.co.uk/vp/ns/default.aspx?xnav=menu use those for quicker postage........ ;)

I'm a printer by trade for ten years and use those guys, they're very cheap and their work is 100% !!!

So you get them to print the business cards for you and then sell them on to your customer?

    Hi ifconfig,

I know a print supplier we had a long time ago used to get the gold stickers with black print from a company in the UK.

The have had an advertisement in The Exchange and Mart for years I think they are in Nottingham, you may be able to find their details on exchangeandmart.co.uk.
