Fitz Tournament Tonight

Does anyone know if the tournaments are starting at 8.30 (as advertised it in the Fitz before xmas) or are they still at the normal time of 9.30 ? Thanks.

All tournaments now start at 8 30. you get 20% bonus chips if you arrive before end of first level, the scalps start tonight aswell each worth 10e

Velly interesting. So would the vast majority of players expect to spend the full €100 - are you putting yourself at a great disadvantage by planning to only spend €50? I'm a 'working man' who can afford a loss or two but would like to know what to expect? Never played in a rebuy tournie so am unsure of how the strategy differs (if at all) compared to a freeze-out. Any advise / thoughts from those more knowledgable than I?

Yes and Yes.

youre at a disadvantage if you dont spend 100 however with the scalps you get 10euro for every player you knock out, as for the rebuy you can gamble a bit more pre freezeout but with only one rebuy its not crazy, the majority will topup if they dont rebuy

Well it's very unlikely that you wouldn't eiher rebuy or top-up. If you survive to the break with no rebuy then you need to take the extra chips unless you have a mountain.
