Mysterious disappearing downloads

Ok - I downloaded two files off underdogs, only to find that when they'd finally downloaded, winzip automatically opened, and claimed that the file had been moved. Looked in the temp internet files folder and sure enough 144Meg file has disappeared. No sign of it in the recycle bin, did a search for zip files, no dice, and…

Ok - I downloaded two files off underdogs, only to find that when they'd finally downloaded, winzip automatically opened, and claimed that the file had been moved. Looked in the temp internet files folder and sure enough 144Meg file has disappeared. No sign of it in the recycle bin, did a search for zip files, no dice, and tried a couple of file recovery programs, nada. It's a scripted download so I don't have the option of right-clicking or deciding where to save it.

Any ideas?
