It would be and will be crap as the Simpsons has been crap since series 7, and it will probably be full of flamin celebrities.

jesus, some of the episodes released in the last few years have been awful rubbish, forced jokes with none of the sparkle of the earlier writing. its very sad really

Season 11-12 was when it started goin down the tube

The classic 'run lola run' episode is from season 12

I agree from there, it has plummeted drastically, unfortunatly

I hope this movie is good, if they can get some of the earlier writers to do it, it'll be comedy gold!

But there really is very little information available. The only thing to note is that the new contracts the actors have includes 2 more seasons, the movie and a sequel.

But do these type of films have any real lasting appeal? I loved both the South Park and Beavis and Butthead Movies when they came out first. But I don't think they're all that great to watch now.

Oh... and I'm 26 and I sometimes read kids magazines... have you not seen some of the cool free gifts that come with them? I got an inflatable Mojo Jojo once...

Yes. I think there is alot more scope for feature film in Futurama than in the Simpsons.

Anyone got any ideas for what possible adventure the Simpsons would get up to in a feature film?

I dunno about that, I saw the South Park movie on Tv recently and still enjoyed it. The music helps it in that respect.
But I don't think I'll bother going to see a Simpsons film, although maybe I'll feel differently in 3 years.

wow ill be 20...weird....anyway i think making a movie is just completely dragging out what they can from the product 'the simpsons' although it will grab a few new viewers 10 year ols who cant tell what is good or what is crap. Over the past few years all they have been doing is taking the piss out of anyone or anything they can.......not loooking forward to the movie
