Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why the gay/lesbian forum?

I don't want to sound like a homophobic, but if homosexuals want to be treated the same as everyone else, then why have a Gay/Lesbian forum on this board? Doesn't that just highlight the fact that they are different? Where's the hetrosexual forum? Or do we not need one because hetrosexuality is considered "normal"?

    Just a point.

I don't want to sound anti-goth, but if goths want to be treated the same as everyone else, then why have a goth scene? Doesn't that just highlight the fact that they are different? Where's the non-goth scene? Or do we not need one because not being a goth is considered "normal"?

    Just a point.

    :p:)

Some troll asked for the forum to be renamed Lesbian / Gay / Bisexual / Straight as straight folk didn't have their own forum.

    Boston gave a good answer:
The abuse you received from friends and family when you finally worked up the courage to tell them... dear god! that you where heterosexual. The heterosexual taunts you receive in work on a daily basic because your the same as everyone else? Maybe its a place you need to come together a discuss the latest campaigns to get heterosexual marriage recognize by the state, and lets not even mention the church.

DeVore kinda said the same thing when someone questioned the forum being set up. You don't go to your parents, sit them down and go "before you hear from someone else I wanted to let you know that I'm straight. "

You don't need to deal with parents kicking you out of home because of your sexuality, for some that post on LGB they have done.

If this is a valid question Gothic Warrior, raise it on the Feedback forum. The rest of you know better than rising to it. And abuse isn't OK if you think it's a troll.
