If there's a killer app that'll get me to buy it, this is it. WipEout fusion was what finally pushed me to buy a PS2 (well that and GTA3) but it was a disappointment. Here's hoping whoever makes WipEout these days, goes old school with the controls.

[edit] Ah after watching the trailer and the dev interview my hopes are boosted. Looks like they've decided to steer clear of Fusion and go more for the 2097 or Wip3out formats.
Also 8 player wifi and a commisioned OST.
