Oil Leak - NCT Problem?

So do oil leaks present a problem for the NCT? Is it a fail? Also, anyone ever tried changing the sump gasket on a BMW 320 e36? Is it worth trying , or is it so crap to do under a car jack in a cold January that you're better off just getting a mechanic to do it? Any idea of the cost , presuming of course it includes an…

Is it worth trying , or is it so crap to do under a car jack in a cold January that you're better off just getting a mechanic to do it? Any idea of the cost , presuming of course it includes an oil change. I can't imagine it taking more than a couple of hours, especially on a garage ramp?

I think it really depends on the amount of oil leaking and the mood of the tester.

u could do it urself. best bet is put it thru nct first. also wash it well b4 u do the nct.
