    Heres my recommendations, more later.

    Backround Music

    Rodrigo Y Gabriella - Re-foc
Upbeat Instrumental acoustic guitar that will blow you away!

Mylo - Destroy Rock & Roll
Lovely electroy housey and ever so slightly rocky album.

De La Soul - The Best of
Happy hip-hop seems so rare these days...guaranteed to put you in a good mood.[/i]

    Party Music

2 many DJs - As heard on radio soulwax part 2
Amazing album...just get it ! Great for dancing.

Queens of the stone age - Songs for the deaf
While some of the songs are a bit metaly for my taste there is no denying the genius and raw energy of this album. classic.

    Chemical Brothers - Surrender
So many fantastic songs on one album - Brilliant dancing muzak.

    Driving Music

The Doors - The best of
    Specially L.A Woman :)

The Rolling Stones - 40 licks
40 songs and I bet you know almost all of them, great for singing along.

David Bowie - Greatest Hits OR Ziggy Stardust & the spiders from mars
Again great for singing along ( badly ) as you drive.

Now you give it a go , make up your own categories if you like.
