All my years shooting I've never had a left and right of Any type of bird. I've been shooting with lads that have got them beside me, but no not me. But I would hate to get one after waiting so long and No one be there to witness it

I was using the scope to look at him through the window.
Filled his crop and strolled around the garden and off he went. He is there most days.

Left to right crosser in rushes with the young bitch.
That's the white lads fairly well clipped I'd say now.

Well lads, I said I'd give my bitch an hour or 2 before the united game this morning, have a 5 minute video I will upload later. Met 2 rabbits a hen and a cock.... Shot the cock the rabbits were lucky :D I met Mr. Fox stalking me for a couple of ditchs and he was been bowld at one stage as I was in the last couple of fields before my home place, so I walked for him to see would he bolt.... when I got close he darted into a bit of cover and flushed a hen right up towards pity it wasn't a cock it would have been perfect haha. Here's some Photos

Lovely dog, nice to see set on a bird, had setters myself years ago when we had suitable country for them, unfortunately all that has changed now due to intensive farming.Na sean laethanta brea.

Thanks Hathcock. Hes a real character of a dog, I get great enjoyment out of him. in my club we have ground for both setters and springers. A springer might be my next purchase. I wont even ask about springers here its not worth it haha
