Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need some projector advice

    Hi guys,
We're kind of toying with an idea in work about using a projector to display some stuff for a phone system. The system would be on probably 10 hours a day, 5 days a week.

No-one here knows a whole lot about projectors, but I'm going to spend a while today researching the technology. Anyone got any ideas? Would any manufacturer specifically create equipment for such constant use? If we have to replace bulbs or whatever, every month, we may as well abandon the thing altogether.

Anyone know any good sites for reviewing/searching through projectors?
    Cheers

what is the input ? is it coming from a PC or is it video/DVD ? still images or moving ? how important is resolution - do you need to show this to clients/customers or is it just to display information on a large screen for many people to see ?

Input was PC/Server. We've decided not to roll with it. For the amount of money we'd be paying in replacement bulbs, and the general serviceability of it, we're going with some big ass plasmas instead :)

    Cheers anyway.
