The Schools BB rollout is to be announced to-morrow and it will mark a key date in the history of BB in Ireland. The big question is whether it will be a positive day or a negative one.

The tenders have been selected to rollout BB to the school and it will be key to see how many of the installations will provide a springboard to bring BB to communities which are not currently able to access BB. If the rumours are correct that 50% of the installs will be satellite based then we will have missed a great opportunity. So fingers crossed......................
