January 11, 2005 - Nintendo's Australia branch has revealed that the Nintendo DS will be released in that territory next month, on February 24th. The system will ship for $199.99 Australian Dollars, and at the current exchange rate that puts the system at nearly the same price as the US version: 152.16. It will be packaged with the Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt demo.

Good chance we could see a similar date for the DS here and the inclusion of First Hunt demo is aloso a good sign that we may get that as well.
