    No dress code in the fitz but merrion seems very stuffy. I played my first ever game in a club on Saturday in the freeroll in the Fitz. (Grrr ppl raising all-in constantly!! :D ) Played a s'n'g after and came third. So I was happy enough! Bring money with you to the freeroll, you might need to rebuy.

    Papa, what seat were you in the Freeroll? I was there (and got a ticket, bizarrely as I didnt feel like I played half as well as I have done before in that tournie and never got a ticket before... that might explain something haha)...

    It was an all-in fest on my table with Oscar and Hector and to a lesser extent myself, acting the nutters (and making Q3 jokes).

    funny finish on your table Dev. all in the hand straight after they were refusing an obvious deal, doubling up and then KK next hand, get 2 people all in with you and you get cracked by a raggy ace :(

    dunno what happened me. i had a nice stack the whole way through, lost some 50/50s and then went all in with top pair, A kicker when i got moved and dunce with middle pair+sh1te called for all his chips and hit 2nd pair on the river.

    i think i was actually tilted slightly by the gamble-fest. its hard not to want to play pots when theres so much loose money around....like calling 2 all ins with K10. im bringing mp3 player and very dark shades to the freeroll from now on :)

    and to keep this on topic, the fitz is great.

    I missed the freeroll on Saturday as I was in the rutunda all day....not nearly as exciting as the freeroll.A mate got a ticket,I think he is heading in tonight I mite join him.

    At least you didn't say the Short Fat one who goes to the Fitz. The sad thing is that i wear Hight Boots to disguise my 5Ft 1". Ah well. Maybe using Smurph as my name wasn't the best idea but sure **** it. I have no idea who you are but if your in there next Saturday say hi. Im usually sitting between scary Anto and Hussain in the tournaments. If you work there could you get Hussains christmas tie banned!!!! please!!!! Sunglasses would be another suggestion.

    I've been called worse but I'd rather not have to go into that story every time someone asks!

    KT is a far superior hand anyway. :)

    I've been called Thomas The Tank Engine for my propensity to go into the tank and have a good long hard think about things (before doing the wrong thing anyway!) :):)

    Anyway, to go back on topic, I suggest the Fitz but then I would. :)
