Apparently you can also do this with Empire poker, which is a skin for PartyPoker. I'm not sure how it works if you already have a Party account though.

Empire and Party are mutually exclusive, you can be on one but not both.

That's what I thought. Do you know is it possible to switch your account from one to the other?

I'm not sure, I suppose you could but it'd be alot of hassle imo.

IMO, it's well worth reading. It gives a decent description of PL cash game starting hands, as well as the basic concepts to apply. Regarding tournament play, the general concept seems to be tight play, especially in the early stages (e.g Cloutier never plays AQ early in a tournie); this is probably at odds with the way the game is played these days by the likes of Gus Hansen, Daniel Negreanu et al. (But the book is a few years old). So it's probably a solid players guide to poker.

Watch out for Cloutiers ego, though... it really shines through. (But then again he's a poker player, where ego's tend to be big anyway!).

Not exactly correct. If you have a PartyPoker account, just use a different machine to sign-up for an EmpirePoker account. You can then use your login name & password on the same computer as PP.

More info here, with some description of redeposit bonuses and whatnot:

Also Coral Eurobet is the same as Empire and Party Poker, where you can credit your credit card with any winnings.

VCPoker, Ladbrokes, Bet 365 (same software as ladbrokes), Interpoker (same as W Hill and Betfair) also all give the credit back to credit card facility.

Ladbrokes and Betfair is good because they have a sportsbook facility, if you are like me and like to 'invest' in other Sports betting such as golf, where I (ahem) cleared a 2K profit this weekend from a 10 euro stake !!
