    Folks, I'm after suggestions

    I'm giving my godchild an old pc I've lying round here as a pressie, it's just a PII 400MHz Dell.

    Any suggestions for free games, i've checked the sticky, but she's only 9 and her sis is 6 so I need ames more suitable to there ages?

    tux racer is an open source game, guide a penguin down a ski slope, kids'll love it, download it for linux or windows...

    well, seeing as its a pentium 4, i would suggest looking for old adventure games such as Legend of Kyrandia.

    a large selection of games are available from abandonware sites.

    I am unsure of what the policy of this site is regarding to abandonware so I'll set up a link ---> http://www.abandonia.com

    You probably know it already, but no harm to mention it again, you could try Home of the underdogs (can't remember the url, think it's www.homeoftheunderdogs.com, but google it to be sure).

    Got one of the biggest collections of free / old games around.
