Crawford Art Gallery/cultural things to do in Cork

    Inspired by the year that's in it, I went for a look in here today while I was in town. Cool building with some cool artwork (they've an exhibition of artists from and associated with Cork on at the moment), free admission, a nice café (although I didn't get to sample the goods) and the coolest public toilets I've seen in ages.

    It's a great way to pass the time if you have a few hours to yourself in town!

    Yeah the Crawford has improved a lot in recent years.. though I don't like the look of the extension from outside.. lovely on inside fair enough.
    Take a wander into the Triskel too sometime.. they often have interesting exhibits on.. it's also free entry and has a nice little cafe.
