Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What a Legend

The best left back never to have won a world cup. What a legend and I dont think his like will ever seen again. I wonder what will his retirement game will be like when he does retire. Probably a Milan XI against a World XI. Just thinking of all the payers he has played with or against is remarkable.

Baggio, maradona , barasi, van basten etc etc, the list is endless

Would love to see him lift the CL in his last ever game for Milan. It would be fitting end.

While it is disappointing he has never won anything at international level, Im sure his seven league titles and four European cup winners medals will soften the blow somewhat.

Greatest left back off all time by a country mile.
Greatest captian of all time by a coutry mile.
Most professional player of all time by a country mile.

He is mroe than a living legend is a living institution, the embodyment of what a professional footballer should be, he is what children should asspire to, he is everything that A.C. Milan strives for, he is the icon for a nation.

i bet he could be president of the world if he wanted.
