Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well how could they possibly tell? If you change more than three(or whatever) pieces of hardware then you have to reactivate. If you installed XP on one computer and it got destroyed and you wanted to install it on another you could ring Microsoft and get a new activation code... What I'm saying is that MS can't tell if XP has been activated on two different computers or if it has just been activated on one and then reactivated due to a major hardware change.

oh you said she "installed and activated it via internet". Did she not have to type in the code to activate it via internet?

Are both computers the same brand? Some XP OEM discs are preactivated for certain brand PCs (I think it recognises the bios)
