    just got a 1.6 Octavia 03 and want to fit a tow-bar

    Not that I will be towing much but it's good to have !!!

    Anyhow - how much and where .

    On Ebay I can get one delivered from England (full kit -elect/bolts/ball/instruc) for about €140 ....

    Anyone got a dealer here to just check out the price.

    There is a trailer and towbar centre on Greenhills Road, Tallaght - Parnell Trailers I think ? Might be worth a call.

    Don't some Exhaust centres also fit towbars ?

    Make sure the towbar is 'EU approved' as all towbars fitted to cars since c.2001 have to be so. (Should be marked on the towbar's info plate).
