There's a sporting website on the net that I registered free with. A company obviously affiliated with it called favouritebacker.com sent me a mail with this plan to have a bank, to send out three horses on a given day and you'd back the first horse, if he won you'd stop but if he lost you'd double your stake on the next one. I thought it was nonsense, especially as they were almost all odds on shots running. Anyway...I got this mail from them today.

    Subscribers,

It's not gone too well this month has it........three straight losing days wasn't part of the "masterplan" and given the amount that's built up to recover it wouldn't be realistic to issue further selections suggesting such a large recovery on the next selection.

Perhaps the most sensible thing to do is for us to terminate the service and that's what we've decided to do. This email is the last you'll here from us regarding the service and the mailing list will be deleted after this message has been sent.

The web site will remain live however with the selection methodology and staking plan available as a free downloadable e-book in the event that anyone might be interested.

All the best for the future.

    Favouritebacker.com

    Poor lads.

Ha ha, Jollyspotters! Just goes to show that punters never win, but they have great fun trying.
