killzone level 10 ?

Sorry folks , im stuck on level 10 on killzone on the ps2 , How do you get into the shuttle ? i can get to the top of the control tower, trip the button there ,run back down , kill off the bad guys and go as far as the shuttle door but its closed , what am i missing or doing wrong , I have searched everywhere for another…
