Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Good move by Pool getting Scott Carson on a 4 and half year deal for less than a million. Seems it was the prospect of getting more first team football that swung him to us from Chelsea where he'd be a distant 3rd choice.

He's in the squad for the Soton game, I wonder if he'll get the nod...?

Now all we need is a central midfielder...

    Mike.

No chance, he's only played 3 senior games in him life (one from the bench). :)

hehe. The only two games he actually started were in Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge at the end of last season, talk about throwing him into the deap end. :) He only conceded 1 in both though with a poor Leeds side.

great things were thought of kirkland when he moved to liverpool but all he has done is take over jamie redknapps nickname sicknote, not a very good sign for a keeper being injury-prone

carson could hardly be any worse than the united fan dudek :)

That's a very spikey response. Indeed Kirkland has had and continues to have injury problems. I really can't imagine his career being a very long one unfortunately.

I'd be interested to see Carson given a few games but Dudek will probably continue as first choice keeper. If the money was available I'd love to see another hopefully top class keeper signed and perhaps let Dudek be on his way.

I wonder is Westerweld cured yet?
