    Our chemistry teacher is absolutely useless. I'm in 6th year now and we've only done about half the course. Does anybody have any predictions about what might come up this year? I know it's risky but i need something to work towards. Does anybody do chemistry in the Institute?If so, what are their notes like?

    It's not a prediction just general advice. Know your organic chemistry inside out and upside down! I know some ppl don't like it but if you know it you're flying cause there's loads of Qs on it every year. Apart from that know all your mandatory experiments, particularly the organic ones and the titrations (titration usually comes up every year) and make sure you know the equations relating to each exp as they usually ask them. Apart from that just start looking over past papers and practice exam Qs :D Good luck!

    Unless the paper has changed recently, it's very predictable and there's loads of choice.
    You can leave out half the course and be more than properly covered.

    Take out your book of exam papers and do yourself up a grid - write the question numbers along the top and the year numbers along the side. Fill in each book with the relevant topic/chapter number in your book.
    You'll see then exactly what you need to know for the exam.
