Probably a stupid question but how hard is it to write your own bios??
See I've seen some new mb's with profile's in the bios i.e. if you want to go on the internet I could select a profile that drops the cpu speed down and the rpm's of the fans so to reduse noise whereas if i wanted to play games i could load the profile that uses the max performance of the PC.
Anyone any ideas or even if there is such a thing that starts when windows starts.

You want a program like speedfan, clockgen, or motherboard monitor to do that. There is no way in hell that you can write your own bios ! :)
