There is a fella near me on the Beara Peninsular trading as Beara Land Rover Supplies. He has a very large stock of head gaskets, clutches,brakes and body panels from 1940-1980s. Mostly British but some French-Italian. Phone number is 02760230. Very helpful-got me out of trouble a few times.

Does anyone know of a garage around the Meath / Kildare / Dublin area who might have a knack with older BMWs? I bumped into a mechanic in Dunboyne who was looking after a modern Alpina. I was too busy drooling to think of asking him where he worked. Was wondering if they might specialise in BMW.

"I have a Silver Shadow 2 that is leaking brake fluid from both height levelling valves and it only happened immediately after I had repaired a leaking brake pipe and I reckon it must be a related problem as its too much of a coincidence for both valves to go at the exact time, so I need a specialist who probably came across this before and can fix the cause before I get two more valves fitted, does anyone know if there is one in the North East/Dublin area?
I will travel even further afield if I have to.
