Grrrr got a router now cant host or be a client

    I have ntl broadband, when using the ntl modem i could not host a game however i could be a client.

    Then i bought a 3com router so i could share my connection with sisters wireless lappy, now i cant host or be a client.

    Anyone tell me why, its a real friggin pain!

    2 websites there 2nd one is new and very good.

    You need the ports opened ,simple as that.

    actually got it to work hosting now which never worked before :)

    But i still cant be a client? maybe its my firewall, will give it a go

    I'm in the same boat Cyrus, don't think there's any way to correct this. I've tried loads of things.

    You using a Netopia ADSL router too?
