It still looks like a regular solid mars bar in the middle.

Would they take a customised order I wonder? What I want is a battered sausage sandwich. Thats 2 battered sausages between 2 slices of bread and the whole lot is battered again. Its a recurring dirty thought of mine...

Edit: should that actually be described as a battered battered sausage sandwich?
I'd call it an "Instant heart attack"!!:eek:
The idea of a battered mars bar has always mystified me...I mean, who the hell came up with it?

I'd say it's the Scots, they batter pretty much everything. I had bangers, burgers, you name it, battered in Edinburgh.

biko you're probably right in saying that! I saw this tv show once that said scotland has the worst/unhealthiest national food in the world!
ie the majority of things that are served there are either fried or doused in grease!
my mate got beaten up there on new years, battered in edinburgh...:p

That is where I had my first battered mars bar.
The Scots would batter anything TBH.

YES id believe ya on that one janeybabe! the more fat you put on anything the better it tastes! FYI fat isn't picked up by any of our taste buds but what it does do is ENHANCE the flavour of anything! well thats what my biology book told me back in the day!!;) the question is always where should i draw the line......:o :p
