    France Telecom tariff plans approved

French Finance Minister Herve Gaymard and Trade & Industry Minister Patrick Devedjian have issued a joint statement saying that France Telecom will be permitted to increase phone subscription rates by EUR 1 to EUR 14 per month from 21 February 2005, reports Les Echos. They insist that consumers will benefit from lower call tariffs and a diversified service. France Telecom is understood to have made concessions, agreeing to cut monthly unbundling charges by EUR 1 in June 2005.

E14 a month for real phone lines?
I notice that the minister had to approve it...
I wonder why our lot can't do the same?
